b'Principal Activities The principal continuing activity of the company is to act as a Public Benevolent Institution providing a wide range of programs and services which aim to improve the quality of life for the aged, frail, disabled and disadvantaged.These services include: Residential Aged Care Community Care Community Nursing Retirement Living Private Hospital There have been no significant changes in the nature of the activities during the financial year.Significant Achievements In our 27 thyear of operation, the board and executive of Ozcare continued working towards achieving Ozcares Strategic Vision 2022-2026.Our goal is to become Queenslands leading provider of aged care, community and health services, caring for our community in both a financially and environmentally sustainable manner by focusing on key areas of our operations. These areas include aged care living, community care, retirement living, hospital, people and our brand. Key highlights for 2022-23 Ozcares unwavering commitment to high-quality residential aged care with a focus on community and connection across our 17 facilities, and our dedication to supporting Queensland country areas executing a contract to transfer Sarina Aged Care to Ozcare. Achieving a 53% concessional ratio in our aged care facilities to ensure that people from all backgrounds and walks of life have access to compassionate, professional and personalised residential aged care. Growing and bolstering Ozcares community care operations, underpinned by our local presence based on state-wide strength approach. Securing funding for an additional 100 schools for the 2023 School Immunisation Program and administering a total of 70,643 student vaccinations plus a further 14,100 vaccinations for the workplace Influenza program.The opening of Stage One of Rendu Towers, Ozcares stunning new development for over 65s living in the heart of Newstead. Welcoming Stage 2 residents at Reflections on the Bay in Hervey Bay and commencing construction on Stage 4. Page | 7'
