Upon disposal of equity investments, any balance within the OCI reserve for equity investments is reclassified to retained earnings and is not reclassified to profit or loss. Upon disposal of debt instruments, any balance within the OCI reserve for debt investments is recycled from OCI to profit or loss. The fixed and floating interest rates notes are expected to be held to maturity (or close to maturity). The contractual terms of the financial assets give rise on specified dates to cash flows that are solely payments principal and interest on the principal amounts outstanding.
