Gold Coast
Ozcare Gold Coast have a strong allied health program which offers the following services:
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Social Work
Our allied health team work closely as a multi-disciplinary team when treating our clients.
Our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists are highly experienced in manual handling, and our expertise in this area enables us to assist clients to remain living independently in their homes and reduce carer strain.
Nursing
Gold Coast
Our Gold Coast nursing team are highly experienced in nursing palliative care clients, including children and adolescents, with additional funding available through Queensland Health for end-of-life cares.
Our team of highly trained nurses manage a range of complex wounds for people in their homes and work closely with the Vascular Clinic and Complex Wound Clinic located at the Gold Coast University Hospital to ensure that client care is best practice.
Our nurse immunisers proudly provide vaccination services for workplaces and we are proud to be the only service provider on the Gold Coast that offers a specialised Continence Unit.
Our Continence Unit also offers a bed wetting program for children.
Shopping & Transport
Gold Coast
We make it easy to get around the Gold Coast. Our friendly, caring bus drivers provide a weekly shopping and transport bus service to seniors living on the Gold Coast.
Weekly trips to:
- The Pines Shopping Centre, Elanora
- Westfield Shopping Centre, Helensvale
- Stockland Shopping Centre, West Burleigh
- Australia Fair & Runaway Bay Shopping Centres
- Robina Town Centre
Enjoy 3 hours to shop, pay bills and run errands. Cost is $7.50 per return trip and participants must be able to mobilise independently.
