The Ozcare Day Respite Centre is co-located with our Parkwood Gardens Aged Care Facility, which can assist in making the transition to residential respite and/or permanent residential placement.
Enjoy group and individual activities designed to allow friendships to blossom and support your independence, with assistance from our trained and caring staff.

Opening Hours
Day Respite Centre
Monday to Friday from 8am – 4pm
Please notify us of late cancellations between 7.30am and 8.00am on the day.
Activities
Physical activities include: gentle exercises, Tai Chi, movement to music, indoor games, carpet bowls, ten-pin bowling, croquet, mini golf, bocce, and more.
Mental stimulation activities include: bingo, puzzles, group quizzes and word games, board and table games (dominoes, cards, whist, 500, rummy o, scrabble), reading, access to technology such as computers, craft, and more.
Social activities include: discussion groups, concerts, guest presenters, product/trade demonstrations, and excursions such as visits to parks, gardens, scenic drives and more.
Activities are designed to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age or impairment. We also provide access to allied health services for those who are Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) clients.
