Our Miriam Vale centre is located one hour south of Gladstone, and is a supportive, friendly environment for seniors and those isolated in the community. Enjoy group and individual activities that foster friendships and support your independence, with assistance from our trained, caring staff.

Opening hours
Tuesday and Friday from 9.00 am – 2.00 pm
Every second Wednesday from 9.00 am – 2.00 pm
Please notify us of cancellations between 9.00 am and 9.30 am on the day.
Activities
Physical activities include: gentle exercises, indoor games, movement to music, outdoor games, bocce, and more.
Mental stimulation activities include: crafts, word games, puzzles, group quizzes (Scattegories, Family Feud), board games (train dominoes, cards, canasta, euchre, 500, cribbage, Sequence, Rummy Kub), reading, access to technology such as iPads, and more.
Social activities include: discussion groups, reading groups, concerts, guest presenters, outings, and more.
Other activities include:
- Art events and painting classes
- Gardening
- Visiting speakers
Activities are designed to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age or impairment. We also provide access to allied health services for Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) clients.
