A social day out of the house
Yellow Divider

Meet new people, enjoy fun activities, and take a break at one of our welcoming locations across Queensland.

It’s a great way to spend the day, and if you have a carer, it gives them time to work, run errands, or recharge. From tea and chats to cards, crafts, outings, and musical entertainment, there’s something for everyone.

We’re here to support you to join in and make the most of your day. You’ll also enjoy a tasty morning tea and lunch, freshly prepared by our cooks, with all dietary needs catered for.

We cater for singles, couples, and those who need to get out of the house and have a chat. If you have a carer, they can complete chores, attend appointments, volunteer, or go to work and know you’re in safe hands.  Experience the Ozcare difference with:

    • Social and recreational activities
    • Fresh, delicious meals including morning tea, hot lunches and desserts
    • Bus transport to and from the centre, free within catchment areas
    • Warm and inclusive environment for everyone
    • Transportation to and from one of locations is available in most areas.

Centre activities

Enjoy a fun-filled day out of the house with others in a warm and inviting environment. We like to get to know you and understand your preferences so we can tailor activities to suit you. All our activities are designed to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age or disability.

There’s something for everyone at our centres.  Whether you like to sit and chat over a cup of tea, play cards, do crafts, or join in a concert with visiting entertainers. We often go on excursions for picnics or to visit local attractions, and we celebrate Easter, Mother’s Day, and other notable occasions throughout the year.

Care and support

Our qualified and caring staff members are on hand to support you in joining in on activities if required. We can also provide assistance with mobility, meals, personal care, medication and toileting.

Our staff are dedicated to getting to know you and understanding what brings you enjoyment and purpose. If you love cooking, we might use your skills to help make a birthday cake, or if woodworking is your thing, you might find yourself helping build something for our centre.  Whatever your interest, we love to help you find joy in sharing it with others.
