We are pleased to inform you that we will resume full service delivery from Tuesday March 11, following Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, with the exception of our Gold Coast Community Care and Day Respite.
The safety of our clients and staff remains our priority, and we will continue to monitor flooding and road conditions to ensure safe access to our services.

We continue to monitor the aftermath of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred and the current state of flooding and road closures.
We’ve decided to continue only essential service delivery across our Community Care services in the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Greater Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Hervey Bay until Monday, March 10. We will review and monitor the need for extra services in local regions.
Due to significant power outages on the Gold Coast, our Retirement Village, De Paul Manor in Southport, is currently without power, and phone lines are down. We can assure you that all our residents are safe, and we’ll continue with resident welfare checks until power has been restored. It is currently a high priority with our energy provider.

We are closely monitoring Tropical Cyclone Alfred as it approaches the South East Queensland coast. With the ongoing delay to the date and time of landfall, Ozcare has decided to continue only essential service delivery across our Community Care services and programs throughout the weekend and into Monday, March 10.
This will affect our clients across the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Greater Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba. Our local teams will continue contacting clients to ensure their needs are met and seek further arrangements if needed. Our Day Respite Centres across these areas will also be closed.
