Congratulations to our September Ozheart winner, Paige Pearce, Assistant Coordinator Field at North Lakes. At only 22 years old, Paige is our youngest staff member to receive an Ozheart award.
Paige was nominated for this award by her client Stephen, who, as a new recipient of a Home Care Package, wanted a Care Coordinator who was caring, knowledgeable and genuinely had his health and well-being at heart.
Stephen’s expectations have been well and truly met with Paige looking after him.
“How lucky I was to score Paige as my Care Coordinator. Straightaway, I was so comfortable in her presence and found her friendly, polite, informative, interested in what I had to say and she listened to what I wanted to achieve,” said Stephen.
“Paige devised a package that totally suited my needs and she contacts me regularly to see how I’m going, if everything is okay and if I need any additional assistance. She really is a “gem” and I do truly hope that she will be with me, not only as my coordinator but hopefully also as a friend, for many years to come.”
Paige started with Ozcare almost three years ago on the road as a care assistant. Wise beyond her years and loved by clients, Paige was approached to backfill a maternity leave position in the office two years ago. Working amongst more experienced and more mature co-workers, Paige has fit right in and proved that she has what it takes to be an outstanding assistant coordinator.
Paige’s caring attitude and thorough approach to her work is something she takes great pride in. She has a way of chatting to her clients that builds strong rapport and instantly puts clients at ease.
We couldn’t be happier to present our youngest recipient with this Ozheart award in recognition of her heartfelt dedication and the standards of care she displays which are second-to-none. Keep up the great work Paige!
