64 years of love, reunited
At Ozcare, we are privileged to witness many meaningful moments – but some leave a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Recently, at our Home Hill Aged Care facility, we had the honour of witnessing a truly special reunion between husband and wife, Nardina and Vince. After being separated since August 2025 due to medical circumstances, the couple was finally able to be together again.
Married for an incredible 64 years, their reunion was a powerful reminder of enduring love, unwavering commitment, and the importance of being close to the people who matter most.
As Nardina and Vince came back together, the emotion in the room was undeniable. Warm embraces, shared smiles and quiet moments of connection filled the space – a reunion that will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to witness it. Their daughter, Marisa, captured the essence of their relationship beautifully: “The way they have stood the test of time. Their love and devotion to one another remains as evident today as ever. They have built a life centred around the things that matter most – family, home, and the simple joys that bring lasting happiness. Their story is a beautiful reminder that a life filled with love, loyalty, and treasured moments in a life well lived.”
At Ozcare, we understand that care is about more than supporting the individual – it’s about preserving relationships, connections and the bonds that shape a life. We are deeply honoured to have played part in bringing Nardina and Vince back together and to share in such a meaningful moment. Their story is a beautiful testament to lifelong love and a powerful reminder of the importance of connection.
Welcome back together, Nardina and Vince – may your days continue to be filled with warmth, companionship, and love that have carried you through 64 remarkable years.
