Features

In addition to 24-hour care, Ozcare Sarina has:

Registered Nurses on duty at all times

Our experienced registered nurses are always on duty to ensure you have access to 24-hour emergency nursing care, medication administration, injections, oxygen therapy, wound care, and stoma care.

Family atmosphere

Staff in our aged care facilities take special care to create an environment that makes our clients feel welcome, relaxed and at home. We see our clients as part of our family and always go the extra mile to learn about you and your life story.

Meals

Enjoy five nutritious meals a day: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Select from menus that have been created by our in-house chefs with your input, and enjoy fresh, delicious meals prepared in our on-site kitchens. We cater for all special dietary requirements.

Activities

Our monthly activities calendar, created by our dedicated lifestyle and leisure teams in collaboration with your input, will provide ample opportunities to socialise, get creative, and have some fun. From bus outings, concerts, and group exercise classes to art and crafts and quieter activities like reading a book in our library or watching TV in the lounge, there is something for everyone.

Recreational areas

Our large activity area doubles as a cinema/media room for residents to enjoy regular movie afternoons, visiting entertainers and scheduled activities. Ozcare Sarina also has a larger undercover outdoor area that connects to our well-established resident garden and overlooks an expansive open area where wildlife often gather.

Visiting health professionals

We offer access to a range of visiting health professionals to meet your specific needs. They may include a Physiotherapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech Pathologist, a Podiatrist, a Dietitian, a Dentist, an Optometrist and an Audiologist. You may be eligible for these services at no cost, or you may be required to pay for them.

Laundry, postal, cleaning and pharmacy services

You will be able to access laundry, postal, cleaning and pharmacy dispensing services at no additional cost. There are also mini laundrettes throughout the facility, allowing personal items to be laundered on-site.

Landscaped gardens

Enjoy relaxing in the outdoors in our beautiful gardens. Wander freely and safely, enjoying the sights and sounds of visiting wildlife.

Visitors' lounges with tea and coffee making facilities

Family, friends, and visitors are welcome to visit you, just as they would at home. Animals are also welcome to visit, provided they are restrained and don’t enter dining areas. We have created several intimate indoor and outdoor spaces for you to enjoy with visiting family and friends.

Medical consulting room

Our designated medical consulting room allows residents to see local GPs on-site, eliminating the need to travel.

Rooms and prices

All residents pay a basic daily fee of 85% of the Australian Single Aged Care Pension. Depending on your circumstances, you may also need to pay a means-tested care fee and/or accommodation charge for your room.

Each aged care home sets its own fees within a limit set by the Commonwealth Government. What you pay depends on the facility and room type you choose, and a means test of your income and assets. Depending on your financial situation, you may be responsible for varying costs of your individual care.  We recommend visiting the My Aged Care fee estimator.

Under the New Aged Care Act, from 1 November 2025, residents entering will be subject to a 2% Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) retention fee, calculated daily. This RAD retention fee is capped at 10% or at five years from entry, whichever is earlier.

Costs are also based on your choice of room:
