Board member since 2022. Former Managing Partner (Audit), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) with 40 years’ experience supporting businesses in a variety of sectors.
Currently serving on the board of four for-profit organisations, two of which are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and a board career spanning a decade in both not-for-profit and for-profit sectors.
A Vincentian, Robert has been a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland for over 10 years.

Kevin Mercer
Chief Executive Officer

proven track record in organisational growth, transformation, and governance.

Dr Minjae Lah
Director
Qualifications: MBBS, FRANZCR, DipPallMed, GAICD
Board member since 2023. Radiation Oncologist with a special interest in Palliative care. Currently a Specialist Consultant in Radiation Oncology with ICON Cancer Centres.
20+ years’ field experience across both public and private hospitals, including as Visiting Medical Officer at Wesley Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Mater Springfield Private Hospital.
Background includes roles in clinical governance and medical education, including Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland Clinical School of Medicine and Lead for Radiation Oncology Training and Education for the ICON Group.

Qualifications: BEng Mechatronics, MEng, GradDipBus, FAICD, FGIA
Board member since 2021. Extensive Board experience, with tenures on several boards nationally, ranging from education, superannuation, property development, building services, health services and not-for-profits.

Christine McMillan

Board member since 2022. Extensive board and senior executive experience across the healthcare, social services, financial services and not-for-profit sectors, including recent CEO of Down Syndrome Queensland and former CEO of Cancer Council Queensland.
A member of the Queensland Disability Advisory Council and Queensland Disability Network.

Board member since 2025. State Vice President of St Vincent de Paul Society Qld and Chairman of the State Council Major Projects Advisory Committee. John is also a Member of the State Council Finance & Investment Advisory Committee and State Council Disaster Assistance Committee.
Former Head of Property Finance (Australia and New Zealand) at Lloyds International Australia, a subsidiary of the UK based Lloyds Banking Group Limited. 40 years’ experience in the banking and finance sector including multiple senior executive positions with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).
A Board career spanning ~15 years across both not-for-profit and for-profit sectors including, amongst others, former positions as President of HeartKids Qld Inc, Non-Executive Director and Vice Chair of Graduate Careers Australia Limited, and Non-Executive Director of Sisters of Charity Community Care Limited.

Trish McMahon
Director
Qualifications: AdvDipFS & DipFS (Financial Services), MAICD, JP (Qual), ACC
Board member since 2026. Trish brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, complemented by extensive governance and leadership experience within the not-for-profit sector. She has held a number of senior volunteer leadership roles with the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland, including State President, and served as a Director of the National Council of the St Vincent de Paul Society Australia and Chair of the National Brand Stewardship Committee.
Trish has been a member of the Society’s State Audit and Risk Advisory Committee for the past six years and is currently President of the St Stephen’s Cathedral Conference, supporting the operation of the Spring Hill Support Centre.

Matt Nunan
Director
Qualifications: BA, BBus, MBA, CPA, GAICD
Board member since 2026. Matt brings extensive executive experience in finance, strategy and governance, having held leadership roles with Rio Tinto, Origin Energy and Lion. He currently serves as Vice President and Director of the St Vincent de Paul Society National Council of Australia and has previously served as a Director of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and Nhulunbuy Corporation Limited.
Matt chairs the Queensland Disaster Assistance Committee and the National Mission, Membership and Spirituality Committee, and is the executive champion of the Queensland Reconciliation Action Plan. He has been an active member of the Society’s Red Hill and Rosalie Conference for nearly 20 years and is passionate about building stronger, more connected communities.
